Cal Poly Pomona moved to remote instruction on March 18, 2020. At the same time, the University Library transitioned to a virtual support model, so that we can continue to serve all students. This year, Giving Day Library proceeds will enhance our ability to support students with online resources, including digital textbooks, article databases, ebooks, and the tech lending program.
In these challenging times, subject librarians are consulting with students via video chat, and seminars are being conducted virtually. The library has also been instrumental in supporting the university’s tech lending program to assist students who need laptops or other technology to ensure they can succeed in this remote learning environment.
Although faculty and staff are working diligently to ensure that students can get by in these difficult times, the added support of our extended community can amplify these efforts. Alumni and friends play an important role in ensuring our students’ continued success.
With your help, the University Library can continue to serve as the dynamic center of campus and learning, whether we are working together physically or on-line. Thank you for your support.
