Equity in Business
Empowering Leaders and Creating Equity

"The time is long overdue to encourage more women to dream the possible dream."

- Sheryl Sandberg

ABOUT US

Our mission is to develop an ecosystem within the College of Business Administration that inspires and empowers women and underrepresented groups by connecting them with business leaders, creating networking opportunities and providing them with innovative learning experiences.

WHAT WE DO

Programs offered by Equity in Business will be geared to informing participants about inclusive leadership and the importance fostering a culture of belonging.

We would like to support the success of students and members of the CPP community in their leadership and business endeavors. We will do this though the following:

  1. Teach and Empower - Through workshops and general meetings with company representatives, Equity in Business creates a platform for students to learn professional development skills and feel ready to start their careers.
  2. Connect with Opportunity - From social events to a lecture series, to networking dinners and leadership seminars, we encourage our community to take advantage of making connections with their peers and professionals from various companies. You never know what opportunity awaits!
  3. Have fun! - Empowering women and underrepresented groups isn't just about networking and coming to meetings. We will offer fun social events and partner with campus and community organizations to strengthen friendships and build relationships with new people.

HOW YOU CAN HELP CREATE EQUITY

Please support our community by making a gift today. On behalf of the College of Business, we thank you for your generous consideration in helping to create equity.
