Disability Resource Center
Welcome to the Disability Resource Center's Scholarship Campaign

The Disability Resource Center (DRC) removes barriers to access for students with disabilities to have equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of the university experience.

Of the students with disabilities that enroll in college, the average retention rate is only 12% (National Organization on Disabilities, 2000). To ensure that students with disabilities have an equal opportunity at academic success, it is important to understand the specific needs of this population.

For Giving Day this year, we are dedicated to raising scholarships funds for students with disabilities to support their academic endeavors. More scholarships will support the success of students with disabilities, especially since graduation rates for students with disabilities are as low as 13% compared to 30% among their non-disabled counterparts.

Please kindly consider making a donation. Your donation will go directly to scholarships for students with disabilities.

The DRC would like to thank Peter and Tina Strand for matching the first $1,000 raised for the Disability Resource Center this year!
