Innovation, technology, and creativity are at the heart of preparing students for the challenges of the 21st century workplace. The CPP Maker Studio is an exciting collaboration between the University Library, the Student Innovation Idea Labs, and faculty members across campus which seeks to give students access to a wide range of resources to help develop many skills. Your Giving Day gift will help the Maker Studio purchase new tools and equipment as part of an expansion of the physical space to help more students bring their ideas to life.
The Maker Studio was created for all students, regardless of major and is located on the second floor of the University Library, where all students can easily have access to make innovative and creative projects. Students are the primary customers of the Maker Studio. Reaching students is accomplished with a combination of cutting edge and traditional tools, diverse experiences, and a space for discovery.
With the Giving Day initiative, the Maker Studio is specifically hoping to purchase new 3D Scanning and Sculpting equipment, soldering tools and equipment to support Electronics, Circuitry work, book making and binding equipment.
We are seeking your support to help ensure that the Maker Studio can support every Cal Poly Pomona student's innovative, creative, and technological goals.
Thank you for your gift!
