Engineering Leadership Program
Building Professional Capacity

Engineering practice requires more than technical design and analysis skills.  Meeting that challenge, the Engineering Leadership Program (ELP) supports CPP's engineering graduates to develop an awareness of their ethics, themselves, their team, and the complexity of the projects they face.

DROWT Team Working Together

The leadership program provides leadership training to all engineering students through co-curricular workshops and leadership lessons embedded in existing courses.  Other students also have the opportunity to apply for funded leadership learning experiences as peer leaders or through the student leadership fellowship program where students can be employed to help

We seek support to provide externally sourced leadership lessons and also to create internal training lessons in project management, ethics, self-awareness, and team role development.  Funds will also help support students selected as mentors for new freshmen and transfer students and provide outreach to current CPP engineering students and local high school programs.
