Your gift to the Communication Excellence Fund will be matched up to $1,500!
Your gift to the Communication Department Excellence Fund will be matched dollar-to-dollar up to $1,500 by Shaina Ostroff, Communication '04 and CLASS Dean's Circle Board Member.
The Communication Department Excellence Fund would support in two areas: student success and department and faculty development.
Student Success:
- Association fees
- Conference travels
- Student awards (e.g., Outstanding Students, Best Capstone Project, etc.)
- Production of materials for student projects in skills-based courses
- Photo printers/lab for students
- Funding to support Alumni Night (Fall) and COM Day (Spring)
Department and Faculty Development:
- Student events to encourage a sense of belonging and community
- Production of materials for skills-based courses
- Technology needs and access to databases
- Supplemental funding for Conference travel and professional development
- Community engagement
- Recruitment of perspective students
