About the Scholarship
The Womxn's Resource Center Cares Scholarship began thanks to generous contributions during Giving Day in 2021, including a match from the Abraham family! This scholarship is unique because it is available to any CPP student with limited restrictions on class standing, work experience, or volunteer experience. The essay prompt simply asks applicants to describe the impact that gender has on their experience as students at Cal Poly Pomona and the value of spaces such as the Womxn's Resource Center. FIVE recipients will receive the scholarship and our goal is to increase the size of the scholarship as well as the number of students the scholarship can serve.
