Supporting Opps. to Access Recreation (SOAR)
Enhance the student experience by supporting access to recreational activities!

Associated Students Incorporated (ASI) is a non-profit corporation serving students on the Cal Poly Pomona campus. ASI provides student representation at the campus level and at the California State University system-wide level. It offers student development through student leader positions as well as student employment opportunities. ASI manages three main facilities on campus: The Bronco Student Center, the Children’s Center, and Campus Recreation.

ASI Campus Rec makes every effort to offer as many facilities, programs, and services at no additional cost to students. Nevertheless, to maximize the breadth of programs and services available to students, we offer some programs and services that are only partially subsidized, requiring students to pay a registration fee to participate. These programs and services include personal and small group training and instruction, sports leagues, outdoor recreation trips, SCUBA diving, and emergency response certification courses.

The intention of the Supporting Opportunities to Access Recreation (SOAR) fund is to enhance the health and wellbeing of CPP students by eliminating the financial barriers that may inhibit them from participating in recreation and wellness opportunities (with a registration cost) offered through ASI Campus Recreation.
