Bronco Startup Challenge

Bronco Startup Challenge (BSC) is a business pitch competition intended to empower students to transform their ideas into businesses. This competition allows students to pitch their ideas to distinguished judges and be mentored by successful Cal Poly alumni and business owners. From this competition, students can acquire the opportunity to create and expand their businesses. The students gain critical experience in product development, marketing, communication, and organizational skills through BSC.

Last year, 6 competing teams went on to create businesses and some of them got venture capital investment.

BSC is an exciting year-long journey filled with discovery, invention, and collaboration.

BSC provides students:

Unique entrepreneurship experience
Mentors to help them along the way
Networking opportunities that might lead to investment
Networking opportunities that lead to funding and investors
