Dr. Ethan Orr is the new dean of the Don B. Huntley College of Agriculture. Dean Orr comes to Cal Poly Pomona from the University of Arizona and brings a wealth of experience in agriculture technology and public service. At the Huntley College of Agriculture, we are shaping the future of agribusiness and food industry leaders through hands-on learning and real-world experiences. Our students participate in national competitions, collaborate with faculty on research projects, and gain vital industry exposure at trade shows and conferences. These transformative opportunities build confidence and career readiness — but they are only possible with your support. Your gift helps provide team uniforms, cover travel expenses, and ensure that every student — regardless of financial background — can fully participate and thrive.
Many of our students depend on need-based scholarships or grants to realize their dreams of a polytechnic education. We aim to provide that opportunity to even more students by increasing our scholarship awards each year. Additionally, more than 70% of our graduates remain in Southern California, driving innovation and sustainability in our local food and agricultural industries. When you give to Huntley, you invest in student success and in the strength of our regional food systems. Every gift makes a difference.
