What is ChemE Car?
As the only collegiate project club for Chemical Engineering majors, ChemE Car offers a unique challenge. Students are tasked with building a car that can fit inside a shoebox that starts and stops as the result of a chemical reaction. During the competition, each team is given a specific distance that their car must travel, with the goal of achieving as close a distance as possible to the prescribed target.
Our efforts are focused on preparing for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Competition, held annually at both the Regional and National levels. This prestigious competition not only puts students' technical skills to the test but also exposes them to environments that require teamwork, communication, and project management.
Why support?
To make this possible, we are seeking donors who can support us in showcasing our hard work, dedication, and representing our students at Chem-E-Car competitions to come. Your sponsorship will not only enable us to attend the conference but also demonstrate the potential and achievements of our team.
