Science Technology and Society Program

The Science Technology and Society Program brings together the natural sciences, technology, the humanities and the social sciences to examine how innovation and society shape one another. Students explore pressing issues such as gene editing, artificial intelligence, sustainable food systems and emerging medical technologies by combining technical understanding with ethics, policy and cultural awareness. Through hands on research projects, students learn to ask critical questions about how powerful technologies should be used and governed.

Your support strengthens an interdisciplinary program that prepares students for careers in policy, law, education, advocacy and science communication. Donations help sustain research opportunities, student projects and learning experiences that equip graduates to think critically, communicate clearly and lead thoughtfully in a rapidly changing world. Give today and help empower students to guide the future of science and technology with insight and responsibility.
