Your support for the Department of Philosophy at Cal Poly Pomona is an investment in the power of critical thinking and ethical reflection to promote a more just world. Our students learn to analyze complex problems and engage respectfully across differences. They develop these skills both through explorations of timeless questions about the nature of knowledge, justice, and reality and through practical engagement with the most pressing challenges of our time. The Philosophy Major at CPP, and our new minor in AI Ethics & Policy, prepare students for leadership in law, public service, business, technology, education, and beyond.
