Black Faculty & Staff Association

 Hello Broncos!

The Cal Poly Pomona Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) needs your help! For more than 50 years, BFSA, as a self-supporting association, has relied on donations from the campus community and beyond to support program and scholarship endeavors. Given that BFSA does not receive state or auxiliary support, events like Giving Day are the perfect way to give to a wonderful cause.

 Examples of programming include our annual Fall and Spring Welcome events for new and current CPP employees, as well as our Sista Circle for CPP staff and faculty.

 For student Scholarships, we have the following opportunities for CPP students:

  • BFSA James Bell Memorial Scholarship
  • BFSA E-Board Community Service Scholarship

BFSA greatly appreciates your donation to continue providing meaningful programming for faculty and staff members, as well as scholarship opportunities for students.

Alumni Decade Boost
One randomly selected CPP alum from each decade will have their donation boosted by $200. (Donation must be made by 8 p.m. PT on March 19 to be eligible.)

Giving Glow Up
Four CPP student donations will be randomly selected and given a $100 glow-up to make their impact shine! (Donation must be made by 8 p.m. PT on March 19 to be eligible.)

Match
Kick-off Match
Starting at 9 a.m. PT on March 18, donations will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000 until funds run out. Eligible for gifts between $5 - $1,000.

Power of $25
One donation of $25 or more made will be randomly selected and given a $1,000 boost! (Donation must be made by 8 p.m. PT on March 18 to be eligible.)

Professor Power-Up
A CPP faculty member's donation will randomly selected and powered up by $500! (Donation must be made by 8 p.m. PT on March 19 to be eligible.)

Staff Supercharge
A CPP staff member's donation will be randomly selected and supercharged with $500! (Donation must be made by 8 p.m. PT on March 19 to be eligible.)
