The Weglyn Endowed Chair at Cal Poly Pomona is dedicated to promoting social and racial justice through education, research and community engagement. Named in honor of Michi Nishiura Weglyn, a civil rights activist and author, the Endowed Chair brings vital conversations to campus that challenge assumptions, expand perspectives and inspire change. Through lectures, events and student programming, we continue to build a learning environment where diversity, equity and inclusion are at the heart of discovery.
