The Structural Engineers Association of Cal Poly Pomona (SEACPP) provides students with hands-on experience in structural design, teamwork and community engagement. Through the Timber Strong Design Build competition, our team designs and constructs a two-story wooden structure that showcases innovation, precision and collaboration across architectural, structural and construction divisions.
Your support helps bring these designs to life. Donations fund materials, tools and travel for national competitions, as well as technical tours, guest presentations and networking events that connect students with industry professionals. SEACPP also gives back to the community through projects like the Dog House Event, where members partner with local shelters to build safe, comfortable homes for pets in need. Every contribution expands opportunities for Civil Engineering and Architecture students to gain real-world experience, build professional networks and represent Cal Poly Pomona with pride.
