BASES
Black Achievement Success & Engagement in Science

The BASES Scholars Program is for First-Time Freshmen students interested in supporting the achievement, engagement, and success of Black students in science. BASES is a transformative community that empowers first-year students to thrive academically, socially and personally. Through mentorship, academic support and co-curricular programming, BASES helps students build confidence, strengthen their sense of belonging and develop the skills needed to succeed throughout their college journey. Scholars describe the program as a true home where they are seen, supported and celebrated by peers and mentors who share their experiences and aspirations.

Your support ensures this impactful program continues to grow and reach more students. Donations help fund meals, supplies and travel for professional and networking events that connect scholars with new opportunities. Contributions also provide additional tutoring, expanded mentorship and programming designed to center the Black experience at CPP. By giving to BASES, you are helping create lasting change and empowering the next generation of leaders, scholars and innovators responsive to the legacy of African and African-American Diasporas.
