Steel Bridge

The Cal Poly Pomona Steel Bridge Team is made up of dedicated undergraduate engineering students who design, fabricate and construct a one-tenth-scale model steel bridge that combines innovation, teamwork and precision. Competing under the guidelines of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), the team is challenged to create a bridge that excels in strength, efficiency and design. This project brings the university’s Learn by Doing philosophy to life, giving students hands-on experience that prepares them for professional success while representing Cal Poly Pomona at regional and national competitions.

Your support helps our team continue to reach new heights. Donations cover the cost of essential materials like steel, fasteners, shop drawings, connections, laboratory equipment and travel expenses. With your help, we can build a stronger and more competitive structure while giving students the chance to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world challenges. Every gift helps the CPP Steel Bridge Team showcase Bronco engineering excellence and carry forward a proud legacy of innovation and achievement.
