The Cal Poly Pomona Steel Bridge Team is made up of dedicated undergraduate engineering students who design, fabricate and construct a one-tenth-scale model steel bridge that combines innovation, teamwork and precision. Competing under the guidelines of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), the team is challenged to create a bridge that excels in strength, efficiency and design. This project brings the university’s Learn by Doing philosophy to life, giving students hands-on experience that prepares them for professional success while representing Cal Poly Pomona at regional and national competitions.
