Help Us Bring High‑Impact Tutoring to More Students !

The Maximizing Engineering Potential (MEP) & Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) Tutoring program at Cal Poly Pomona plays a vital role in helping students succeed academically. We provide high‑impact tutoring, one of the most effective research‑backed strategies for accelerating student learning—surpassing the results of traditional tutoring.

According to the National Education Association, when high‑impact tutoring is implemented correctly, students experience significant academic gains, especially those who have fallen behind (2024, NEA). Our tutoring program is built on this proven model. By offering consistent, twice weekly sessions with trained tutors, we provide the individualized attention students need to succeed.

  • Ongoing work with the same tutor each week.
  • Frequent, consistent sessions with accountability measures.
  • Students gain 3–15 additional months of learning, giving them the chance to catch up and excel.
  • In math, this approach is shown to be 20 times more effective than standard tutoring.

But scaling a program with this level of impact takes resources—and that’s where you come in. Back a solution that works. Boost learning. Change outcomes. Donate to high‑impact tutoring today.
